For more than 40 years, Learning Solutions’ owner, Mary Wilson, has been a business consultant, senior manager, career coach, group facilitator and training professional within private and public sector organizations. She founded Learning Solutions in 1997.
Throughout her career, Mary has built teams, resolved conflict, developed leaders, designed/delivered training and coached people in transition. Her specialized expertise is in Federal government career transition. She has worked extensively with the Everything DiSC® behavioral style profile. Mary draws on her diverse experience as a human resources professional, business publications editor and coach to help individuals discover and market their unique strengths and overcome roadblocks to success.
Among the organizations Mary has assisted are the Department of Homeland Security, National Nuclear Security Agency, the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, National Institutes of Health, GAF, McDonald’s, American Water Enterprises and Hershey Foods. She is a contributor to Nourish Your Career, a book of career advice, and has been a featured speaker at many professional meetings, including Evolution Magazine’s Women in Business and Leadership Conference.
Mary has held the position of Assistant Vice President, People Development, at Keystone Foods Corporation, a multinational McDonald’s supplier. Her background also includes a variety of positions in human resources development and employee communication at the former Bethlehem Steel Corporation.
She is an honors graduate of Dickinson College and has a master’s degree from Lehigh University. She is a member of the Society for Human Resource Management; and a member, past chapter president and past chapter board member of the American Society for Training & Development. Mary serves as a Lay Servant Minister and pianist/organist within the United Methodist Church.
